In the 3nd week, I was able to start moving plants with long enough roots to the channels with lower water levels. During the past week, I did take a weekend trip, leaving the garden unattended. Under the right conditions, you can leave this garden unattended for multiple days at a time. Do the upper channels block light to the lower channels? Somewhat, but the white color of the tubes helps reflect light onto those plants.
