Salad Bowl Lettuce

The plant is so named because when it is fully grown, it is supposed to fill an entire salad bowl. From my experience, it does. This lettuce variety has different shaped leaves compared to regular leaf lettuce types.

Annual or Perennial?: Annual
Germination time: 7-14 Days
Days until maturity: 45-50 Days
Light requirements: 4-6+ hours (Partial Shade to Full Sun)

Traits:
Companion plants:
Special needs:

When to plant: Grow in Spring in mild climates and in winter in warmer climates

How to grow: Sow seeds in dirt 1/8" - 1/4" deep in soil. Plant new seeds every week for a continuous supply of lettuce. Thin out seedlings to keep from overcrowding.

How to harvest: Harvest whole plant at once or cut leaves as needed (cut and come again). Full sized plants can fill an entire salad bowl.
